South Florida-based Unique Imaging, a leading specialty imaging provider with clinic locations in Miami and Aventura, has partnered with PocketHealth to provide patients with instant, online access to their medical imaging exams.
Since the platform’s launch in October 2018, Unique Imaging patients have been able to securely provide signed consent for record release, verify their identity and access their diagnostic imaging entirely electronically, saving time after the appointment typically spent by patients waiting for a CD to take to their physician.
Once patients receive access, their imaging history from all Unique Imaging locations is stored permanently in their account for future access. If they wish to share with their specialist or another healthcare facility, they can share their diagnostic-quality (DICOM) imaging via email, fax, printing off a page with a secure link, or even burning their own CD directly from their account.
Meanwhile, their physicians can view the imaging shared with them using a powerful, FDA-certified viewer right from their web browser, without any software required.
