Humber Valley Imaging Deploys PocketHealth Patient Sharing Platform

humber valley imaging chooses pockethealth

Humber Valley Imaging (HVI) has partnered with PocketHealth to provide patients with online access to their medical imaging exams, in their original diagnostic format.

Founded in 1977 and now with 10 sites throughout the Greater Toronto and Simcoe Areas, HVI is among Ontario’s largest and oldest medical imaging clinic groups. The group offers X-Ray, ultrasound, vascular, mammography, bone mineral densitometry (BMD) and cardiology diagnostic services across its sites.

Starting today, HVI patients can visit pocket.health/HVI, enroll for online access and receive access to their diagnostic-quality imaging records within minutes. Once patients receive access, their imaging history is stored permanently in their account for future access, alongside any other requested imaging records from PocketHealth-enabled clinics/hospitals across North America.

If they wish to share with their specialist or another healthcare facility, they can share their diagnostic-quality (DICOM) imaging via email, fax, printing off a page with a secure link, or even burning their own CD directly from their account. Meanwhile, their physicians can view the imaging shared with them using a powerful, Health Canada/FDA-certified viewer right from their web browser, without any software required.

Patients can learn more by visiting pocket.health/HVI, reading through the PocketHealth Patient FAQ or contacting PocketHealth Patient Support at [email protected].

Humber Valley Imaging joins over 500 other hospitals, clinics and mobile imaging sites across North America that have deployed the PocketHealth platform for their patients.

About PocketHealth PocketHealth is a patient-centric cloud platform that enables imaging providers across North America to share imaging records electronically with patients, instantly and securely.
