Stay Informed with the New “Missing Records” Feature

man woman and doctor

The wait before receiving your medical records can be a very stressful time. PocketHealth aims to make the process faster and more efficient. With this new update you will have a better idea of when you can expect to receive your new records!

So you have successfully made your request and have logged into your account, but you do not see your most recent exams on your “My Records” page. What is the next step? With our new missing records button you can receive an accurate timeline of when any missing exams will be available, or notify our team if it is outside of the expected timeline (all without picking up your phone or touching your email inbox!)

Once logged into your PocketHealth account (you can do that here), select the blue text “Missing a record below? Click here” as shown below.

1. Start off by entering the facility where your imaging was performed

2. Then enter the date your exam was performed

3. Lastly enter the type of exam that was performed (e.g MRI, Xray, etc.)

And just like that, you can notify our team of any exams you are missing – no phone calls or emailing required!

Despite services such as PocketHealth, in certain cases the wait for your records is inevitable, but here are some tips that you can use to help make the process easier.

Change Your Mindset

Viewing this process in a positive light can help you feel better and make the wait less excruciating. Even if the results are not what you want them to be, it will be the first step in the right direction towards your wellness. Plus having your records at your fingertips will make you feel more empowered and in control of your own healthcare.

Reach Out to Loved Ones

It is important to vocalize how you are feeling, especially with those who support you. This can help you gain a better perspective and reinforce the idea that you are not alone. Spending time with people you love can also help keep your mind off things.

Stick to Your Routine

During this time it is especially important to make sure you are sticking to your routine and standing by your commitments. This will allow you to feel productive but also prevents you from thinking negative thoughts.

Take Care of Yourself

Make the extra effort to eat right, exercise and practice mindfulness activities. This is something that will not only benefit you during a tough time but also impact your long-term health. Become aware of your emotions and take time to deal with them. If it becomes too difficult to manage on your own, reach out to a professional to seek care.

There are many online and in-person resources out there that can help you in a time like this – reach out and get the support you need!
