PocketHealth is electronically connected to over 800 hospitals and imaging centers across North America.
Once you provide consent to a hospital or imaging center, in a few minutes, you'll receive an email that all historical exams have been added to your account. If you have a large record set, this may take up to 48 hours.
Recent exams may take longer to appear on your account. Typically, this is because an imaging report for your exam may not be written yet. This can take upwards of a week after your exam date, based on your hospital/imaging center, how specialized your exam was (and their average turnaround time) and if your hospital/imaging center puts a hold on record release for new records.
As soon as your hospital/imaging center has finalized your recent imaging exam and approved it for release, you'll receive it automatically in your account within a few minutes.
At PocketHealth, your trust is important to us. As part of our commitment to keep your medical information safe, we use the following safety protocols:
Secure Access to Results
We secure all records with bank-level encryption. All of your scans are linked to a secure personal identifier, such as your health insurance number, medicare number or OHIP card number.
2-Step Authentication
When a new exam is made available, you're required to enter your identification details to add your exam as part of our enhanced information protection.
Managing Access
You get full control over access to your records, from sharing with providers to revoking credentials. You can also permanently remove any records you don't want to store.
