Viewing Records

  • Why don’t I see definitions or highlights on my images?

Definitions are included with both Core and Unlimited plans, and appear within your radiology report to help you understand key medical terms.

Highlights are available with an Unlimited plan for certain scan types, like chest X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans of the chest, abdomen, or pelvis, for patients aged 18 and older.

If you’re unsure whether your imaging qualifies or think something’s missing, please contact our Patient Experience team at [email protected].

  • How can I access my records on the Basic plan?

The Basic plan is free and lets you download your medical records directly from your desktop computer.

To get started, follow the step-by-step instructions for your device:

  • What’s included when I request my records?

When you request your records, you will receive your imaging in full diagnostic quality in its original format (DICOM). When provided by your healthcare organization, your record will also include the radiologist reports for your exams.

PocketHealth offers three patient plans to view and access your imaging. For the most current details, please visit our patient pricing page.

In some cases, the exact contents of your record (for example, reports or past imaging) may vary based on your healthcare organization’s release of information policy. If you have any questions about what is included, please contact our Patient Experience Team at [email protected].

  • Will my imaging records stay in my account forever?

Yes. Once records have been added to your PocketHealth account, they remain available to you indefinitely unless you choose to delete them.

  • One of my scans or reports is missing – what should I do?

Please contact our Patient Experience team at [email protected] with the location, exam type, and date of your missing images or reports. We’ll look into it and guide you on next steps.

  • Can I view records if I’ve had imaging in both Canada and the U.S.?

If the imaging was done at PocketHealth-partnered facilities in both countries, you can view all your records in one account. Your data will be stored in the country where the imaging took place, and your account will include separate Canadian and U.S. regions. You can easily toggle between them to access everything in one place.
