The health system includes Brampton Civic Hospital, Etobicoke General Hospital, Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness, a Reactivation Care Unit and a Withdrawal Management Centre. Osler’s emergency departments are among the busiest in Canada and its imaging operations are one of the largest in the province, performing more than 500,000 imaging studies annually.
Most services require a doctor’s referral or requisition form, but services under the Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP) do not. Eligible patients can self-refer if they meet the criteria for the program.
Imaging services through the William Osler Health System are covered under OHIP. In cases where a patient may not have a valid Ontario health card, services are at the discretion of the hospital and must be paid for by the patient.
The William Osler Health System clinic will send your results to your referring physician, typically within a week of your test. For quicker access, you can use PocketHealth to easily view and share your results, often before your follow-up appointment.
William Osler Health System offers services through Brampton Civic, Etobicoke General and Peel Memorial hospitals, as well as through the Reactivation Care Centre and Withdrawal Management Centres in Etobicoke and Brampton. You can find the address for each location above under “Location Details”.
