  • From the protocol to the payer portal: Routine protocoling for radiologists, worklist monitoring and results communication in the reading room and eligibility, authorization and denial routing in the revenue cycle.
  • Built for systems without an API: Operates legacy applications and payer portals the way trained staff do, under a named, least-privilege account the health system provisions, with an immutable audit trail.
  • New integrations: Connections added on top of existing support for EHR, RIS, PACS, image exchange, payer portals, telephony and document intake.

TORONTO, October 14, 2026 – PocketHealth today announced the expansion of PocketHealth Conductor, its agentic operations platform, into three new workflow areas across radiology and the revenue cycle.

The front desk is where automation in healthcare started. The work on either side of it has not moved, for one reason: it spans systems that were built with a person in mind. Radiologists protocol routine exams by hand. Urgent studies sit on worklists that do not alert. Authorizations start one to two weeks before the exam because a person has to log into each payer portal individually.

“Automation in healthcare keeps stopping at the API boundary,” said Rishi Nayyar, Co-Founder and CEO of PocketHealth. “Most of the work that costs health systems money and time sits behind a login, in a portal or an application that will never expose an interface. We built PocketHealth Conductor to sign in and do the work, under credentials the health system issues. That is why one platform can protocol an exam, monitor a radiology worklist and work a payer portal.”

New protocoling capabilities:

  • Protocoling at scale: Handles the majority of MRI and CT protocoling against the department’s own logic, reviewing the order and chart and applying the same rules at every site, with a full audit trail.
  • Judgment call escalation: Routes exams requiring clinical decision-making to a radiologist, with indication and prior history attached.

New reading room capabilities:

  • Worklist monitoring: Watches for urgent and unread studies and re-notifies until a radiologist claims the case.
  • Reading room call triage: Answers the reading room line, resolves a wide range of common provider requests including facilitating connection to the radiologist, exercising judgement on requests for a sooner read, facilitating addendum requests and more.
  • Critical results follow-through: Locates the ordering physician or the best available proxy, delivers the finding and documents acknowledgment.

New revenue cycle capabilities:

  • Eligibility verification: Confirms coverage at the point the order is created rather than days before the exam.
  • Authorization submission and tracking: Logs into payer and benefit manager portals, submits, monitors status and writes the result back to the order.
  • Exception and denial routing: Flags mismatches, incomplete orders and denied requests, and routes each to the right team with the context already attached.

Healthcare providers using PocketHealth have seen a 50%+ reduction in clerical labor costs and zero downtime across live enterprise deployments.

“Administrative delays are a patient safety issue, not only a cost issue,” said Dr. Ram Chadalavada, Chief Medical Officer at PocketHealth. “An exam waiting to be protocoled holds up the schedule. An authorization that arrives late cancels the appointment. A critical result that misses its physician postpones treatment. Every one of these delays impacts the patient.”

With these additional workflows, PocketHealth has added new integrations that enable providers to easily add agentic AI to the systems they trust. Click here to see the full list of systems that PocketHealth integrates with.

PocketHealth will demo its new capabilities at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting in Chicago, November 29 to December 3. Book a meeting with the PocketHealth team here.
